Testimonials: Two Decades of Letters

From the first yellow ribbons we shipped in 2003, customers wrote back. Thank-you notes rode in with fundraiser reorders; photographs of decorated tailgates arrived by email; more than one letter was written from a base overseas. This page preserves the spirit of the testimonials wall from the classic store — the voices, lightly condensed, that kept a small North Carolina shop printing for all those years.

From Military Families

"I bought a Keep My Soldier Safe ribbon the week my husband deployed and it stayed on my car for fifteen months. The day he came home we peeled it off together and it's in his shadow box now. Thank you for making something that mattered that much." — A military spouse, Texas

"Our family readiness group ordered unit ribbons for every family in the company. The quality was better than anything else we found and they arrived a week early. You made a hard season a little easier." — FRG coordinator, North Carolina

From Fundraising Groups

"We were tired of selling candy nobody needed. Our magnet sale raised more in three weekends than the previous two fundraisers combined — your numbers were exactly right. The youth group goes to camp this summer because of those ribbons." — Youth pastor, Georgia

"The booster club has sold your baseball magnets at the snack bar for four straight seasons. Parents ask for them before we even unpack the box. Easiest money our program raises." — Booster club treasurer, Ohio

From Awareness Supporters

"I ordered a Pink Survivor magnet the day my mom finished treatment. She cried when she saw it on her car. We've since bought four more as gifts for the women in her support group." — A customer, Pennsylvania

"Our walk team's custom ribbons turned out beautiful — the proof process was easy and the colors matched our cause exactly. People asked all day where we got them." — Walk team captain, Virginia

On the Product Itself

"Three years on the tailgate of a truck that lives outdoors, washed every other week, and the ribbon still looks new. I followed your care guide from day one. Best made magnet I've ever owned." — A customer, Tennessee

The care routine that customer followed is still published in our magnet care guide — and the catalog those letters describe is preserved page by page, starting with our products. To every customer who wrote, called, or simply kept a ribbon on the car long after the news cycle moved on: thank you. The letters were the best part of the business.

And One From the Shop

"People ask what business we were in. The honest answer was never magnets. A magnet is thirty cents of vinyl and iron oxide — what people bought was a way to say the thing out loud: come home safe, we're proud of you, she beat it, this team is ours. We just made sure it stuck to the car." — The USA Magnets and More team

If a magnet from this catalog carried something for your family, the contact page reaches us — letters are still the best part.
